While I lived n worked in Bangkok I dined various times at Vertigo n Moon Bar. Fully agree to your comments that it is the worlds best n most impressive hotel rooftop venue. Now back in Germany I miss it a lot. Although I never slept at Banyan Tree (I am loyal guest at Mandarin Oriental BKK) I still dine at least once or twice on each Bangkok trip at Vertigo/Moon Bar!

I miss Bangkok, I miss this hotel and the restaurants in Banyan Tree. Right after, I got second jab , I'll fly back to Bangkok

What happen if it's rainy
Vertigo and Sky bar are the two well renowned bars in Bangkok and therefore overpriced and pretentious. I don’t have that kind of money to throw away and prefer Above Eleven or the Scarlett bar. Easier to get in and way more relaxed and affordable.

The Banyan tree hotel in Bangkok, Thailand is very grandeur and modern and contemporary and very High standing hotel which makes the perfect slit fir rooftop bar and restaurant.

It's another gem in Bangkok hotels. What a stunning views from all over, the day and night skyline is awesome,, mesmerizing. The sky gardens and pool areas are beautiful. The rooftop moon bar exceptional with all amenities, from their a great view of the concrete skyscrapers both at night and day. Special mention of bathroom where the gray marbles with greenish wall color, it soothes. Awesome property indeed.

Lovely rooftop, but I could probably never go up there. I get motion sickness in high buildings. I feel them move so strongly that I'm sick for the rest of the day. Probably something to do with the inner ear.
I'm also terribly afraid of heights and would be on my hands and knees anyway (weirdly, I don't get scared or sick on aeroplanes or mountains, though). 🤣
So, no favorite rooftops. 😁
Lebua is pretty pretty good and has more space on the rooftop I think 👍
