Ich liebe Koh Tao und fliege im Mai wieder hin, da ichj aber drei Wochen nicht dort bleiben möchte, würde ich gerne etwas in Koh Phangan bleiben. Das war ich auch schonmal im Süden und da gefiel mir es gar nicht. Hast Du paar Tipps, Orte die dem Sairee Beach ähneln vom Nachtleben her? Und kannst Du mir bitte sagen wo das bei Minute 6:42 genau ist, das sieht nämlich fast noch cooler aus, als Sairee auf Koh Tao

Are there many monkeys on Koh Phangan? If yes, is it similar to other tourist spots in Thailand, where they get in contact with humans? I would like to avoid that since I got attacked by a monkey when I was a child…

Avoid drugs in Thailand. When I was there I met an English chap meeting his friend in prison who had 10 years for possession of 4x ecstasy. If drugs are your thing – do it elsewhere

any island deserves a month minimum, two weeks is too little to truly absorb local atmosphere
Leaving your passport with a motorcycle rental is most definitely NOT NORMAL. Pay a cash deposit and get a receipt.
Do not ever buy/take drugs from people you don't know…in Phangan or anywhere in Thailand…Non-uniformed police can try to get you to buy and charge you big money to let you go. Saw this myself. Also, renting a motorbike is really the best way to travel but if physically impossible then renting a driver and vehicle is also possible and not that expensive. Anyways , well worth it considering you may not get to go again to Koh Phangan ever again. Phangan is great party place …party everyday practically. Full Moon party, new moon party party, half moon party, day before party, day after party heh heh.
NEVER give your passport to ANYONE in Thailand, or anywhere else. Ever. If they won't accept a healthy cash deposit, look elsewhere or find another way around.
